Course content:Definition of globalization, mundialization, global village. Different meaning and aspects of globalization, history, nature and existence of globalization. Characteristics, conception of alterglobalization. Institutions which forms the principles and rules of globalization.Global problems: poverty, famine, mortality, indebtedness, diseases, natural disasters.
Transatlantic economic relations and their global aspects
Integrational processes in Americas (including: NAFTA, Mercosur, conception of FTAA and others).Integrational processes in Eurasia and Central Asia (including the role of Russia and Turkey, creation of the Commonwealth of Independent States, Euro-Asian Economic Community and others).Integrational processes in Asia – Pacific (including the role of China, Asia – Pacific Economic Cooperation, ASEAN Free Trade Area and others).The scope and character of integrational processes in Africa (ECOWAS and others)
