Learning outcomes
Identifies the material and environmental causes of corrosion of buildings
Understands the physico-chemical processes of corrosion occurring in materials and elements of building objects
Knows ways of securing przeciwwilgociowego and anti-corrosion coating construction
Implements laboratory studies and field in the area of corrosion diagnosis and assessment of the State of water objects
Research report of byline, interpretates test results and draws conclusions
Works individually and in a team of designated task, supervise the work of the team and take responsibility for the correct execution of the task
Assessment criteria
EVALUATION FROM THE EXAMINATION
Each of three effects of educating in the area of knowledge (EK1, EK2, EK3) will be assessed individually, based on the written answer to questions. A grade in the examination will be given based on the arithmetic mean from three positive assessments. In case of getting at least one fail the examination is being assessed on 2.0, irrespective of the level of other evaluations. The result of the average from evaluations of components is translating according to the following rules itself from the graduation colloquium into the conclusive assessment: 2.0 (average 2.00-2.99), 3.0 (average 3.00-3.24), 3.5 (average 3.25-3.75), 4.0 (average 3.76-4.25), 4.5 (average 4.26-4.75) and 5.0 (average 4.76-5.00).
EVALUATION FROM THE LABORATORY
Conditions of doing the graduation college:
• attendance in classes (according to the PB study regulation),
• carrying examinations and reports out,
• obtaining the positive assessment from every final test.
The conclusive assessment from the laboratory is being established based on the weighted average, for which they are elements:
• evaluation from written credits from individual exercises (arithmetic mean from all evaluations) (weight 0.8);
• evaluation from reports (weight 0.2).
Way of the verification of effects of educating
EK1
He is identifying material and environmental causes of the corrosion of civil structures
Manner of the verification: written exam from the lecture, written credit from laboratory exercises
Verification of the level of achieving the effect by the student:
for the evaluation 3.0: is identifying simple, often met material and environmental causes of the corrosion of civil structures of making significant mistakes
for the evaluation 4.0: is identifying material and environmental causes of the corrosion of civil structures without making significant mistakes
for evaluation 5,: correctly is identifying material and environmental causes of the corrosion of civil structures
A validity check of performing chosen examinations is an integral element of the verification of the effect of the education. It is assumed that the correct workmanship of the examination and preparing the correct report are confirming the ability of identifying material and environmental causes of corrosion in analysed cases.
EK2
He understands phisico-chemical corrosion processes occurring in materials and elements of civil structures
Manner of the verification: written exam from the lecture, written credit from laboratory exercises
Verification of the level of achieving the effect by the student:
for the evaluation 3.0: he is describing straight corrosion occurrences with understanding and to give an explanation about processes accompanying without making significant mistakes
for the evaluation 4.0: he is describing corrosion occurrences with understanding folded and to grant basic explanations about accompanying processes
for the evaluation 5.0: he is describing corrosion occurrences with understanding folded and to grant exhaustive explanations about accompanying processes
A validity check of performing examinations is an integral element of the verification of the effect of the education. It is assumed that the correct workmanship is confirming examining and preparing the correct report understanding examined corrosion processes.
EK3
He knows manners of damp-proof and rustproof protecting of civil structures
Manner of the verification: written exam from the lecture
Verification of the level of achieving the effect by the student:
for the evaluation 3.0: is able to present basic, traditional manners of damp-proof and rustproof protecting of civil structures
for the evaluation 4.0: is able to present modern manners of damp-proof and rustproof protecting of civil structures
for the evaluation 5.0: is able to present modern manners of damp-proof and rustproof protecting comparing civil structures alternative solutions.
EK4
He is carrying laboratory tests out and field in the area of corrosion diagnostics and the evaluation of the state of the moisture of objects
Manner of the verification: laboratory exercises - the validity check of performing examinations and reports, the written credit from laboratory exercises,
Effect verified in the system zerojedynkowym. The correct workmanship of all examinations and reports is a necessary condition of getting ranking from the laboratory. A study regulation is settling the matter of absence.
EK5
He is editing reports on examinations, is interpreting findings and is learning a lesson from ..
Manner of the verification: laboratory exercises - validity check of carrying reports out
Verification of the level of achieving the effect by the student:
for the evaluation 3.0: he is editing reports on examinations, however not all elements of this report are complete and legible. He is interpreting findings without significant mistakes and is drawing essential conclusions.
for the evaluation 4.0: is editing reports from he is examining, is interpreting findings without significant mistakes and is drawing essential conclusions.
for the evaluation 5.0: he is editing reports on examinations, is interpreting findings and is drawing astute conclusions.
EK6
He/she is working individually and in the team above the assignment, will supervise the work of the team and a responsibility for the correct workmanship is taking tasks
Manner of the verification: laboratory exercises - validity check of the execution of tasks research in teams which one by one all members are driving
Effect verified in the system zerojedynkowym. Taking up employment at the work in research teams will be verified on the basis of observations of the person giving classes. The lack of the commitment will be tantamount to the lack of ranking from the laboratory. Leaders appointed one by one are responsible for the correct execution of the objective. If not will manage to fulfil the objective one should repeat them after prior establishing a date as part of consultation.
