Course content: Different kinds of buildings and buildings systems. Building structures shaping taking into account schemes of work. Spatial work of building structures. Spatial stiffness. Joints and connections. Computational models: one-dimensional, strip, frame, finite elements. Numerical methods utilization. Soil- structure interaction. Statical computations and design of building elements: walls, frames, columns and plates, shells. Deep foundations. Paraseismic and atypical loads of the buildings.

Learning outcomes: The course gives ability to understand of spatial work of the building and to create the computational models of different kinds of the buildings taking into account statical and dynamical analysis. Ability of using numerical methods. Learn rules of design different buildings structures.
