Electronic measurement TZ1A500040
Course content: The input high impedance circuits with frequency compensation. The review of A/D and D/A converters in the measurement instruments. MAD and true-RMS-converters. The measurements of nonsinusoidal voltages issues. The comparison between various implementations of the RMS equation,(thermal, implicit and explicit computation) and MAD detector. Algorithms of digital RMS-measurements. R,L,C,Q and |Z|,φ-meters. The measurements of THD. Digital scopes and digitizers: structures, sampling modes, gradient-displaying technology. Algorithms of digital measurements of frequency and time. Analog and digital waveform generators. Description of the structures and operation of DDS’s phase increment registers. PLL frequency synthesizer family, their constructions and operations. The interaction of measurement instruments with PC. Virtual instruments.
