Physics - Field Theory TZ1A400025
Course content:
Vector analysis. Maxwell's equations. Boundary conditions of the electromagnetic field. Energy and power of the field. Electromagnetic waves. Wave propagation through the boundary of two media. Waves in multilayer media. Electrodynamical potentials. Transmission lines. Waveguides. Resonators. Waves propagation in the atmosphere.
Learning outcomes:
EK1 - has knowledge of the vector analysis and numerical methods
EK2- has knowledge of fields and electromagnetic waves
EK3 - estimates the methods of solution of egineering problems of the electromagnetic field and choses and applies proper methods
EK4 - is able to apply the learned methods and mathematical models in the analysis of electromagnetic field problems
EK5 - is able to improve professional skills in the proces of self-education
EK6 - understands aspects and consequences of engineering activity and its influence on envirement
