Multimedia Techniques TS1A611258
Course content: the emphasis is put on methods and standards of compression of audio data (AbS algorithms), compression of image data (H.261, 264, MPEG standards), introduction to technologies and methods for building of multimedia systems, specification and management of quality of multimedia services (VoIP), introduction to multimedia operating systems, access networks for interactive multimedial services, integration of teleservices and multimedia communication.
Learning outcomes: students learn modern algorithms in multimedia systems
