Course content:
Setting up, operating and configuring network routers and switches. Configuring static IP routing. Configuring and examining of dynamic routing protocols. Using Access Control Lists (ACL) to traffic control in IP networks. Configuring and examining of network bridges and Virtual Local Area Networks (VLAN). Configuring and examining of simple Quality of Service (QoS) architectures. Configuring and testing data transmission based on a modem connection. Setting up and configuring wireless local network with Wi-Fi technology.
Learning outcomes:
Acquiring hands-on skills in setting up data transmission networks and configuration of network devices.
