Law in Tourism and Recreation TS04127

Course content:Rules of practice law. Basic definitions of civil and administration law. The tourism Services Act. Organization and functioning tourism enterprises. Sustainable development of tourism. Tourism agreements: hotel agreements, time sharing, agreement for the tip, contract of carriage. Cultural resources and historical value. Functioning travel agencies. Responsibility of tour operator. Visa laws. Consumer protection. Safety in tourism and recreation . Rights and duties of tourists and consumers of tourism.
Sport and recreation law. International and EU tourism law. Tourism policy in Poland.

Learning outcomes: Students have knowledge about basic institutions of the law and tourism law.
