Alternative Energy Sources S03505
Familiarize student with the classification of renewable energy sources and their potential energy on Polish territory. Teach students the construction and operation of technical systems used for energy gain : wind, rivers, geothermal, solar, environment and chemical energy of biomass. Familiar with the methods of assessing the energy efficiency of renewable energy systems.

Learning outcomes
1. Has ordered, encouraged by theoretical knowledge concerning renewable energy sources
2. Has knowledge on developments and new achievements concerning the use of renewable energy sources
3. Able to obtain information from literature, databases, and other sources
4. Able to determine the energy efficiency of systems used for renewable energy acquisition
5. Able to interact and work in a group, taking in the various roles
