Course content:
1.Society – the subject of the sociology.
2.The attributes of group creation. Social structure.
3.The types of social relations.
4.The sociological meaning of ‘culture’ and its attributions.
5.The social meaning of art – social nature of art.
6.The sociology of art as the perspective of art phenomena.
7. Art and democracy – the art as the tool of democratization, also the art as the critic of the democracy.
8. The art in the public sphere – art as the social communication tool.
9.Public art towards its global receiver, the art politically connected. Art consumption: art as the product, artist as the label.
10. Artistic strategies against art production.
Learning outcomes:The most important educational effect is to inspire students to the critic reflection and the development of sociological, self-consciousness. The aim of the lecture is to discover and develop the creativity students’ potential.
