Analytics of toxic substances in the environment OM1031
Course content:
Methodology of sampling and sample preparation. Fundamentals of chromatography (GC, HPLC, HPIC) and its use in determination of toxic substances in environment. Determination of PAH, PCB, PCDD, PCDF, BETX and by-products of drinking water treatment. Capillary electrophoresis and its application. Spectroscopic methods. Application of ESA, ICP, ASA i MS. Fundamentals of electroanalytical methods. Application of poptentiometry, conductometry, polarography, amperometry. Combined techniques (GC-MS). Speciation and speciation analysis. Elaboration of measurement results and their interpretation. Chemical sensors, miniaturization in analytical toxic substances.
