Meteorology and climatology O11115
General characteristics of the measurements in meteorology, climatology. Location and facilities obsrvation points. Principles of meteorological measuremenst and observations, and climatiological studies of selected elements (temperature, humidity, pressure, precipitation and sediment, wind speed, cloud cover, visibility, sunshine and radiation). Rules based on the construction of the isobars pressure data at the measuring pionts. Weather maps and synoptic analysis. Forecasting the weather. Climate and climate factors.

Learning outcomes
-student recognizes and interprets the states of the atmosphere and its variability in space and time,
- defines and justifies the weather forecasting based on meteorological data,
- determines the impact of weather conditions on ecosystems and the economy,
-able to work in a team.
Assessment criteria
Lecture
The written examination consists of 5 questions to verify learning outcomes EK1, EK2 and EK3.
Questions are rated by the teacher on a point scale: 0,5-1,0-1,5-2,0-2,5-3,0 point.
Scores obtained by the student depends on the quality of the answers to the questions.
Final Rating: 3.0 (8 to 9.0 pts.) 3.5 (9.5 to 10.5 pts.), 4.0 (from 11.0 to 12.0 points) 4, 5 (from 12.5
to 13.5 pts.), 5.0 (from 14.0 to 15 points).
The exam must be passed without the use of notes, other materials and support and without communicating with other people.
The exam takes about 45 minutes.
