SUBJECT AREAS - describing advantages and disadvantages; defining needs and problems; process description; professional careers.
GRAMMAR - noun and participle clauses, forming questions in different grammatical tenses, passive voice in different grammatical tenses.

Assessment criteria
The semester finishes with a final examination.
The grading system:
Fail (grade 2.0):
The student's overall score for the semester is below 51 points.
Satisfactory (grade 3.0):
The student's overall score for the semester is in the range of 51 - 60 points.
Satisfactory + (grade 3.5):
The student's overall score for the semester is in the range of 61 - 70 points.
Good (grade 4.0):
The student's overall score for the semester is in the range of 71 - 80 points.
Good + (grade 4.5):
The student's overall score for the semester is in the range of 81 - 90 points.
Excellent (grade 5.0)
The student's overall score for the semester is in the range of 91 - 100 points.
