Course content:
SUBJECT AREAS - measurements, indicators, object localization, material properties, resistance, effects of processes or natural phenomena.
GRAMMAR - structure and forming compound nouns, indirect questions, passive and active voice, struktures for expressing cause and result.

Learning outcomes
Students use the English language at B2 level in everyday contacts and in professional situations
Assessment criteria
Assessment: written tests, spoken and written home assignments, active participation in classes
During the semester, the student may be awarded maximum 100 points:
- 30 points for one or more tests, where at least one test will include language items from the student's field of study;
- 20 points for different types of classwork projects and assignments, including speaking tasks;
- 50 points for the module test.
Grading system:
Satisfactory (grade 3.0):
The student's overall score for the semester is in the range of 51 - 69 points.
Satisfactory + (grade 3.5):
The student's overall score for the semester is in the range of 70 - 76 points.
Good (grade 4.0):
The student's overall score for the semester is in the range of 77 - 83 points.
Good + (grade 4.5):
The student's overall score for the semester is in the range of 84 - 89 points.
Excellent (grade 5.0)
The student's overall score for the semester is in the range of 90 - 100 points.
