Course content:
Periodic table of the elements. Chemical bonding. Chemistry basic laws. State of aggregations. Solutions, dispersions, colloids. Phases balance. Phenomenons of sorption, diffusion and osmosis. Phenomenons on phases limit - adsorption. Inorganic compounds. Organic compounds –classification, properties, reactivity. Methods of chemical analysis. Water properties. Types and mechanisms of chemical reactions. Thermodynamics and kinetics of homo- and heterogeneity reactions and termochemistry. The criterions of thermodynamics balance, spontaneity and affectation processes. Activation energy, catalysis. Electrochemistry– electrode processes, electrolysis, voltaic cells. Metal’s corrosion. Selected operations in chemical technology.
