Course content:
Lectures: General concepts of mechanics. Vectors theory. Reduction of the arbitrary spatial system of forces. The equilibrium equations.Friction.Systems of parallel forces. Centers of gravity and mass. Distributed load. Kinematics of point. Translational and rotational motion of a rigid body.Plane motion. Spherical and arbitrary motion of a rigid body. Compound motion.Rigid body motions addition.Trusses.
Classes: Plane system of concurrent forces.The spatial system of concurrent forces. Plane system of forces. Center of masses. Complex structures. Friction. Arbitrary spatial system of forces. Static analysis of beams, piles and trusses.Kinematics of a point.Rotational motion of a rigid body.Plane and compound motion.
Learning outcomes:On receives theoretical knowledge and practical habits in the modeling of mechanical engineering structures using the concepts of a particle, a system of particles, a rigid body, equations of statics and kinematics.
