Course content: The organization of data processing systems. Processes. Memory management. File systems. Interprocess communication, synchronization.
History and classification of computer networks. Model ISO-OSI layer. Transmission media, topology, network equipment. Ethernet. Layers and TCP / IP protocols. Fundamentals of construction, operation and administration of LAN. Routing Basics. Application layer protocols. Directory services and share resources. Fundamentals of safety and security resources. Basic configuration of the network environment, TCP / IP. Distributed systems and clusters, parallel processing. Distributed file systems. Family of operating systems MS Windows. Linux systems.
Learning outcomes: understanding the basic mechanisms of operating systems, skills and competence to use computer networks
