Course content: Lecture:
The organization of data processing systems. Processes. Memory management. File systems. Interprocess communication, synchronization.
History and classification of computer networks. Model ISO-OSI layer. Media, topologies, networking hardware. Ethernet. Layers and TCP / IP protocols. Routing Basics. Application layer protocols. Distributed systems and clusters, parallel processing. Distributed file systems. Fundamentals of Safety and Security. WLAN.
Laboratory Design:
Fundamentals of use and administration on Linux. Fundamentals of construction, operation and administration of LAN. Physical layer. Configuring TCP / IP. Windows Server and Active Directory. Fundamentals of Safety and Security, WLAN.

Learning outcomes: understanding the basic mechanisms of operating systems, skills and competence of an expert use of computer networks
