Course content:
Complex numbers.
Vector calculus on plane and in the space. Equations of lines and planes; relations between points, lines and planes.
Matrices and determinants. Matrix calculus. The inverse of matrix.
The methods of solving systems of linear equations.
Basic properties of real functions of one variable. The overview of elementary functions.
Sequences of numbers. The limit of a sequence. The limit and continuity of functions.
Differential calculus of functions of one variable. Derivatives of functions and their properties. The applications of derivatives.
Indefinite integral.
Definite integral.
Ordinary differential equations of the first and second order. Cauchy problem.
Learning outcomes:
- the ability of solving problems formulated in the form of algebraic description
- the knowledge of operations on complex numbers and vectors
- the knowledge of differential and integral calculus of functions of one variable
