Learning outcomes
Student can refer the student to the rules and technical requirements for road maintenance
Student distinguishes pavement maintenance systems and support systems to effectively manage the road network
Student knows the methods used in the diagnosis of road pavement
Student Place assess pavement condition
Student can indicate a orientations on maintenance and upgrading of roads
Student develops, verify and evaluate the reconstruction project documentation
Assessment criteria
Lecture:
Passing a written lecture - exam
Exercise Design:
Done correctly assess the state of the project on surface streets in Bialystok or county road in Podlaskie (Part computing descriptive and drawings of the project, the adjustment of the project)
Performed correctly calculating the design for the assessment of longitudinal equality, anti-slip properties and capacity
Final test
The exam consists of 50 multiple choice questions on the content of the program. If you select the wrong answer student receives negative points. Final rating depends on the number of points obtained taking into account the negative points of the answers correct.
Final Rating: 3.0 (from 26 to 31 points.) 3.5 (32 to 35 points.), 4.0 (from 36 to 41 points), 4.5 (42 to 44 points.) 5.0 (45 to 50 points).
The exam must be passed without the use of notes or other materials and support and without communicating with other people. Assessment takes about 45 minutes.
Exercise Design:
The assessment of adequate (3.0), the student:
1 correctly compile an inventory of damaged pavement surface
2 Place the cracks to determine the status indicator and the surface and used to determine the condition of the road surface
3 It can calculate the coefficient of friction authoritative, reliable indicator IRI and pavement load index
The assessment of good (4.0), the student:
4 Meets the requirements of paragraphs 1-3.
5 Defines the causes of damage
5 Properly selected repair procedure
6 Make a segmental pavement condition evaluation based on operating parameters surface
For a very good student (5.0):
Meets 7 points 1-6.
8 It can perform the most effective choice of repair surgery using knowledge of new technological solutions
