Course content: A brief history of electronics. DC and AC circuits. Ohms and Kirchhoffs laws, Thevenins and Nortons theorems. DC and AC methods of analysis. AC signals and circuits, RL, RC and RLC simple circuits.Electric and electronic measurements, methods and equipment. Semiconductors, diodes, bipolar transistors and MOSFETs, integrated circuits - construction and operation. Amplifiers and switching circuits. Optoelectronic devices. Current mirror, active loads and references. Integrated circuits. Differential amplifiers, operational amplifiers, and comparators. Functional blocks. Sinusoidal and pulse oscillators. A/C and C/A converters.Linear and switching voltage regulators.
Learning outcomes:abilities and competence - of understanding problems from the scope of electrical engineering, applying units of measures (SI), of applying basic elements in practice and the electronic circuits and using standard devices and measuring apparatus
