Course content:
Market Economy.
Basic macroeconomic categories (ways of measuring the national product, national product as a measure of economic growth).
Determinants of national income (economy pattern AD-AS, macroeconomic balance).
State budget ( budget incomes and expenses, budget deficit and public debt).
Money market (functions and kinds of money, demand for money and money supply).
Central Bank and money system ( CB functions, instruments of influence CB on the money supply).
IS-LM model .
Global supply.
Unemployment (kinds and structure of unemployment, reasons of unemployment, unemployment in Poland).
Inflation (meaning and cause of the inflation, social and economic results of inflation).
Cyclical fluctuations.
Learning outcomes:
knowledge of basic measures in doing business, rules of determing the macroeconomic balance, interpretation and basic understanding of economic processes.
