Course content:
1. Communication on the Web using the HTTP protocol. Introduction to web technologies.
2. Basics of HTML.
3. Visual Studio 2010 as a Web development environment. Working with HTML / CSS in Visual Studio 2010.
4. Introduction to web technologies: CSS Cascading Style Sheets.
5. CSS rules, types of selectors, Defining styles for an HTML document.
6. Introduction to databases. Basic terminology. Characteristics of databases. Data model. Database management system (DBMS).
7. Most engines Web applications. Systems such as WordPress blogging and CMS such as Joomla.
8. Sources of threats on the Internet. Web application security.
Learning outcomes:
Knowledge of the mechanisms of dynamic web applications using server side language. Ability to create web pages. The ability to launch websites based on Wordpress / Joomla.
