Course content:
Market economy.
Basic macroeconomic categories (ways of measuring of the national product, national product as a measure of economy growth).
Determinants of national income (economy pattern AD-AS, macroeconomic balance).
State budget (budget incomes and expenses, budget deficit and public debt).
Money market( functions and kind of money, demand for money and money supply).
Central Bank and monetary system (CB functions, instruments of influence CB on the money supply).
IS-LM model.
Global supply.
Unemployment (kinds and structure of unemployment, reasons of unemployment, unemployment in Poland).
Inflation (meaning and causes of the inflation).
Cyclical fluctuations.
Learning outcomes:
knowledge of basic measures of doing business, rules of determining the macroeconomic balance, interpretation and basic understanding of economic processes.
