5. Input/output statements, COMPUTE statement,format lists.
6. Entities, attributes, sets.
7. Temporary and permanent entities, system attributes.
8. Comman and compound attributes. Evants and processes.
9. Simulation clock, process interactions, resources.
Modeling statistical phenomena.
10. Pseudorondom generators.
11. Simulation analysis. ACCUMULATE and TALLY statements.
12. Simulation principles, warm process, model verification and debbugging.
13. Introduction to Network Simulator ns-2.
14. TCP simulation.
15. TCP congestion. RED queues.
Learning outcomes:
Competence in building simulation models of dymanic systems and competence in obtaining the main performance measures in computer systems and networks.
