Description:
Definition and specifics of the international law. Sources of international law (international treaties and common law). Actors of international law (states, international organizations, non-state actors). Territory in international law (scope, sovereignty, limitations, state borders, international rivers, sea areas, arctic regions, airspace). Population in international law (citizenship, foreigners, territorial asylum, extradition, international protection of human rights). Diplomatic and consular law (diplomatic privileges and immunities, diplomatic corps)
Peaceful resolution of international disputes (definition, classification, international courts, retaliation and reprisals in international law). Law of armed conflicts (war, armed conflict, ius in bello, disarmament).
Requirements:
evaluation of the students' reports and cases, assessment of the students' activity during the discussion
