Telecommunication devices IS-FEE-10037
The principal objective of lectures is to cover the fundamentals digital television and radio systems and radiotransmitter structures.
Structures and technical parameters of radiotransmitters and receivers. Automated gain control and automated frequency control. Frequency synthesizers. Microwave oscillators, microwave tubes, magnetrons and klystrons. Principles of digital communication systems. Channels multiplexing methods: FDMA, TDMA, CDMA.
Requirements:
Students should have basic knowledge in the field of mathematics, electrical physics, circuit theory, digital and analog electronics, fundamentals of computer science. The general requirement is that student has studied engineering for at least 2 years. In some cases prerequisites are defined.
