Description:
Bonduary problems of the linear theory of elasticity. Geometrical characteristics of plane figures. Internal forces in bar systems. Strength simple cases - the extension, the compression, the torsion and the simple bending. Strength complex cases - the diagonal bending, out-of-centre extension, the bending with the participation of transverse forces. The calculation of beams deflections. The stability of a straight bar.
Skills: Acquired knowledge in following problems: the internal forces calculating in bar structures, strength cases identification, cross-sections designing of bars, understandings of the structure stability and its components analyzing.
