Course content:
Lectures:
1. The concept of law, sources of law, branches of law, connection law with the state.
2. Basic concepts of civil law. Elements of the law of succession. Elements of family law.
3. Basic concepts of criminal law and the criminal responsibility.Mediation, conciliation. Issues of discrimination and domestic violence.
4. Selected problems of employment law.
5. Basic concepts of the business activity. Taking up and leading of economic activities by individuals.
6. Commercial companies: private companies and capital companies.
7. Basic concepts of tax law. Indirect tax and direct tax.
8. Selected problems of copyright. Author's personal right. Author's property right.
Learning outcomes:
The subject introduces students to the issues of legal institutions necessary for conscious participation in social life. During the semester are disussing issues of civil law (sensu largo), family law, criminal law, tax law and labor law.
