Course content:Scilab environment: operations with matrices,operations with polynomials, functions and graphics in Scilab. Elements of programming in Scilab; instructions.Some numerical methods: solution of linear algebraic equations by Gauss elimination method, finding the inverse of matrix, calculation of determinants, solution of equation and simultaneous nonlinear equations, integration,calculation of the value of power functions, extremum of the function,Newton and Lagrange interpolation, polynomial approximation, ordinary differential equations by Euler and Runge-Kutta method.

Learning outcomes:Simple and composite calculations in Scilab environment, learning of some numerical methods and implementation of algorithms which realize this methods,
presentation of the results in forms of 2D and 3D graphs.
