Learning outcomes
LO1 Students describe types of building objects, forms of development, site requirements, know general rules of constructing building objects.
LO2 Students identify materials, elements, structures and relations between them and surrounding environment.
LO3 Students analyse and prepare construction drawings of buildings and lot development.
LO4 Students properly chose and describe materials, elements and technical solutions used in building objects and lot development.
LO5 Students prepare and present oral presentation refering to selected objects and construction technology.
LO6 Students know how to use Internet and other data basis.
LO7 Students can work in team.
Assessment criteria
Building Engineering GS 4132 sp-gp-12-13
Lecture L-30h
- written exam
The written exam consists in five questions which verify learning outcomes LO1, LO2,...
Student selects three questions out of five given and they are evaluated according to the scale 2,0 (less than 51%); 3,0 (51-60%); 3,5 (61–70%) ; 4,0 (71-80%); 4,5 (81-90 %); 5,0 (91-100%); Student has to get at least grade 3.0 for each of the evaluated questions.
The final grade of exam is calculated as a mean value from 3 grades obtained for each of the evaluated questions.
Classes C -30h
- it is an evaluation and positive verification of the learning outcomes LO1, LO2, LO3, LO4, LO5, LO6, LO7,
- student has to have credits (minimum grade 3.0) in all elements: completion of design exercise N1 and N2, credits in written test, defense of the exercise and elaboration and presentation of a paper on a given problem.
Classes
- scoring of written test, defense of the project-exercise and the paper is determined by the particular teachers;
The final grade is determined as a weighted mean value (according to range of exercise, written test , defense of the project-exercise and paper) according to the scale given in App. 1
App. 1
0. Binding of the project N1
- max. 1 point, min.1point:
Further notation - 1/ 1
1. Specification - 9/ 3
2. Drawings - 13/ 9
3. Lists and app. - 7/ 3
---------------
Total for project N1 (classes) - 30/16 **
0. Binding of the project N2
- max. 1 poin, min.1point:
Further notation - 1/ 1
1. Specification - 9/ 3
2. Drawings - 45/27
3. Lists and app. - 5/ 2
---------------
Total for project N2 (classes) - 60/33
Grade scale:
Project:
– 31 points – 2,0
32 – 38 points – 3,0
39 – 44 points – 3.5
45 – 50 points – 4,0
51 – 55 points – 4,5
56 – 60 points – 5,0
Written test, defense of the project, paper:
91 – 100 % – 5,0
81 – 90 % – 4,5
71 – 80 % – 4,0
61 – 70 % – 3,5
51 – 60 % – 3,0
– 50 % – 2,0
The final grade is a weighted mean value with weights as follows: every project – 30%, the written test – 15%, defense of the every project – 5 %, the paper – 15%.
