Course content:
The term, characteristics, types and criteria for the delimitation of the regions. The territorial organization of the state. Theories of regional development. The spatial polarization of socio - economic development in Poland and the EU.Essence, objectives and models of regional policy. Subjects of regional policy. Regional policy instruments. Funding for regional development. Programming of regional development. Management of regional and local development. EU regional policy.
Learning outcomes:
Student can describe subjects responsible for regional development, indicate the source of financing for regional development, selects measures and on the basis of it analyzes the spatial polarization of regional development, explains the relationship between national and EU regional policy.
