Geometry and Engineering Graphics II GP2012
Course content:
Dandelin’ theorem - cone and cylinder sections. Affinity and central collineation. Construction of conics. Intersections of cone and cylinder. Shaping of rectilinear surfaces. Vaults and curvilinear roofs.Central projection:basic constructions (parallelism, perpendicularity, revolved section, measuring point of line). Applicable perspective:vnishing point and background point method, grid methods, heights of points, azymuts and angles of elevation, shades and shadows. Perspective of interiors and its reflections.Topographic projection – representation of basic objects. Contour maps and plan-profiles.Earth work design-fill and cut CAD program.
Learning outcomes:
Knowledge of new geometric transformations and kinds of projections have in civil engineering employment and its properties in context of newest utilization of software. Education of spatial imagination and take possession of abilities of graphic creation engineering documentation part.
