Course content:
Basis knowledge of building engineering. Building materials. Contemporary architecture. Types and forms of housing. Typical requirements for different types of buildings. Interactions between buildings and surroundings. Technical requirements referring to designing and construction of buildings. Spatial requirements referring to designing and construction of buildings. Structures. Finishing and furnishing elements. Building technologies, methods and systems.
Auditorial Exercises
Execution of structural design of building (in simplified/limited version). Execution of paper referring to building systems.
Learning outcomes:
Basic knowledge referring to building art, technical requirements for structural design and construction of buildings and other objects. Ability to construct building structures in proper way.
