Course content:
- Laplace transforms. Mathematical modelling of dynamic systems;
- The correlation between transient and frequency-response and s-plane diagram;
- Response of higher-order systems;
- Stability of linear time-invariant systems. Hurwitz and Nyquist stability criteria;
- Quality estimation of control on the basis of time and frequency domain performance specifications;
- The tuning of three-term controllers - experimental methods.
Learning outcomes:
Competence of using analytical and semi-empirical methods to analysis of continous control siso systems.

The assessment of a written test consisting of ten questions covering the problems of the subject studied.
