Course content:Fresnel diffraction. Fresnel zones. Fraunhofer diffraction. Diffraction grating. Polarization of light. Brewster's low. Bohr's atom structure model. Roentgen radiation. X-ray diffraction. Principls of quantum mechanics. Wave-corpuscle dualizm. Quantum numbers. Paul's principle. Periodic system theory.
Learning outcomes: understanding of physical effects and processes in nature, defining basic physical quantities for light waves, X radiation and quantum mechanics.
