Industrial Electric Power Networks ES2B202256
Course content:
The classification and requirements of industrial electric power networks. Electric networks models and schemes. The balance of power and energy. Power and energy loss in industrial nets. The economy of power and electric energy. Compensation of the reactive power. Power quality. Metods of voltage control. Short-circuita in power electric networks, calculation. Project of the industrial power networks. Calculation of recepient loads. Selection of number and power of MV/LV transformers. Selection of distributive apparatus and cables for normal and fusion work. Selection of devices to the reactive power compensation.
Learning outcomes:
Students will acquire knowledge in the scope of designing and exploitation of industrial power networks.
