Program contents:
The current unit and method of control (linear and non-linear) AC/DC and DC/AC converters. Vectorial model of three-phase converters. Criteria of evaluation of power electronics converter control methods. Vectorial methods of convertor steering. Direct torque control and direct self control. Converters with power factor correction. For quadrants and two quadrants converters. Convertors for supply bilateral forced machines. Cycloconverter to supply of slow-speed and large power machines. Fuzzy logic and neural network control.
Laboratory
Investigation of SAMI GS converter . Three-phase AC/DC converter with PFC. DC/AC converter with DTC. Three phase DC/AC and AC/DC converters - structures and control system with open and closed loo . The systems of flux reproduction of induction motor and influence correction of dead time.
Learning outcomes:
Know-how of analysis different types of DC/DC, AC/DC and DC/AC converters for electric drive.
