Course content:Energy law and its influence on the functioning of electric utilities and electrotechnical enterprises.
New law and deregulations on the organisational structures of power plants, power transmission and distribution. Management and leadership of enterprises in the market economy; management of processes. Market processes introduced in electric power enterprises, the aim and role of system operator. Strategic planning, budgeting, financial planning, business plan. Types of accounting methods in enterprises. Theoretical outline of financial decision-making process.New challenges of marketing in electric power enterprises in competitive business environment. The elaboration of a typical business plan for electric power and electrotechnical enterprises operating in competitive market.
Learning outcomes:
The knowlage of basic electric market and electrotechnical enterprices in Poland, energy law, economy and management in electric power industries.
