Methods of Identification and Diagnostics ES1A621354
Course content:
Static models, methods of parameter estimation. Least Squares estimators - algorithms and properties. Recurrent schemes of data processing. Experiment planning,optimality criteria.
Mathematical models of dynamic systems, testing signals. Parameter estimation methods: least squares, instrumental variable. Parameter identification of ARX and ARMAX models: off-line and recurrent on-line algorithms.
Typical problems of on-line supervision of dynamic plants - data measurements, plant inspection, fault detection and isolation. Methods of fault detection: analysis of process variables, constraints violation, model-based methods, residual signals and their classification, artificial intelligence (neural and fuzzy classifiers), decision trees, bayesian classifiers. Feature extraction from signals, pattern recognition for fault detection and identification.
Learning outcomes: make students familiar with methods of parameter estimation and fault detection and isolation.
