Programmable Logical Controllers and Process Controllers 2 ES1A620305
Course content: Familiarization with a Windows based software application STEP 7 that allows creating the user program for SIMATIC S7-200,
designing a control programs in LAD and IL languages for a logical and sequential process installations;
familiarization with a Windows based software application VisiLogic that allows creating the user program for OPLC UNITRONICS Vision 260/290 (Ladder application – to control a binary-continuous process, HMI application – to observe a controlled process);
creation an example InTouch application that makes possible supervision of the running control industrial system;
configuration and parametrization of process controller: PSW-8 and SIPART DR22, feedback control system with PID control based on PSW-8 or DR22, experimentally adjusting the settings of the PID controller.
Learning outcomes:
Student acquires knowledge about: construction of PLC, operating principles, rules of programming and design.
