The Methods of Electrical Energy Generation ES1A610209
Course content:
Energy conversions in thermal power plants. Thermal energy making systems and power plants. Rankine- cycle (reheat and regenerative cycle). The parameters calculation of Rankine - cycle in power station. Thermal circulatory systems, implemented in turbo-gas energy generating power plants, and combined gas-steam systems. Thermal circulation systems in nuclear power plants. Renewable energy sources and possibilities of their usage in electrical energy production. The role of water power plant in power system.�Problems of environment protection.
Learning outcomes:The students get to know the technologies of electric energy production the using traditional fuels as well as renewable sources of energy. They learn analysis' of energy production systems with point of view their efficiency as well as influence on natural environment.
