Abnormal and dangerous conditions of power system components and measures applied to identification them. Major type of protection equipments. Current measuring transformers. Voltage measuring transformers. Filters of symmetrical components. Major circuits of the protection relays in the analog and digital version. Protective relaying of transmission lines, transformers, generators, rotating machinery,capacitors and buses.Basic schemes of automatic reclosing relaying and switched load transfer. Testing of overcurrent, directional and distance protection relays. Testing of transformer differential and grund-faults protection relays.
