High Voltage Technique 2 ES1A400034
Course content:
Measurements of isolators across voltage distribution. Electrical breakdown in air, measurements for AC and DC current. Voltage dividing systems, spark gaps and voltage measurements transformers. Current surge generators. Breakdown under impulse voltages in air. Electrical breakdown in transformer oil, breakdown voltage measurements.
Learning outcomes:
The principal objective of the course is to cover the fundamentals of high-voltage laboratory techniques, to provide an understanding of high-voltage phenomena, and to present the basics of high voltage insulation design.
