Course content:
Basic terms: the purpose, nature and object of research.
Analysis of the factors ensuring the reliable results.
Fair presentation of research,
Basic elements of the structure of modern scientific research: theory, physical experiment and computer modeling and analysis of the relationship between these elements.
Creating a mathematical model of the research object.
The mathematical model of the tested object and the approximating function.
The role of the thought experiment in the research process.
Types of reasoning: inductive and deductive reasoning.
Probabilistic interpretation of the phenomena occurring in the nature and inductive reasoning.
Application of the Gaussian functions to analyze the measurement results.
Distribution of Student.
Learning outcomes:
Ability to plan, in general, the research process, taking into account the factors that favour the reliability of the results.
