Course content:Basis of design- terms and definitions referring to durability, design situation,combinations of actions, partial factors,limit state, Design working life of structures,factors influencing durability.Environmental factors and actions.Management of structural reliability,reliability differentiation, consequences classes and recommended reliability index. Concrete timber and masonry structures-environmental requirements, chemical actions, chloride action, alkalia-aggregate reaction,durability requirements. Probability of failure, reliability classes, reliability index betta. Reliability of structure evaluation in the light of PN-EN 1990, Coefficients of variation, partial coefficients - reliability index analysis for timber, steel and concrete structural elements. Durablity and safety of structures under fire. Analysis of reliability in diagnostic of structure,prognosis of repairs.
