Course content:Steel concrete composite structures, basic assumptions, materials and their characteristics.Methods of analysis of steel-concrete composed structural elements fully or partly encased under bending; elastic and plastic load bearing capacity. Slab-to-beam connections, longitudinal shear forces, deformability of connectors. design of connectors.Serviceability limit state: deflections and cracking of composed elements under bending.Steel concrete composite compressed elements under axial and eccentric loading - methods of design.Frame and beam to column joints in composite structures; analysis and design. Slab with corrugated sheets - formation and design.Reinforced concrete composite structures analysis and design
