Building three compositional systems on the same given space with dimensions of 30 x 30 cm. The basic element of each arrangement is a module chosen through consultations and corrections. Each case has to contain the same number of components.
The first case - a compact composition. Building an object in the form of a compact system with all the features emphasizing its tectonics and a sense of wholeness.
The second case - the arrangement of a compact system in the form of two elements on the principle of positive - negative in relation to each other. The composition arrangement should suggest a distribution in relation to the first case. Searching for mutual relations in the compositional system on the basis of the result and the causative element.
Third case - the breakdown of a compact system in the form of an open composition.
All three cases, apart from the same module, should have common features resulting from the process of opening the compact body. That is, the dynamism of the opening of the body, its sequencing and the related consequences should be noticeable. All three arrangements should be characterized by stylistic unity in terms of form and material used. They should be a search for innovative solutions of spatial arrangements based on the same modular element. The students' task is to find an individual form of expression based on the innovative and unconventional nature of the module. Creating interesting spatial compositions in the form of a formally uniform triptych.
