Course content:
The levels of organization of ecological systems. The organisms and the nature environment. The ecological niche. The strategies of life. The types of the interaction between the species. The flow of the energy and the circulation of the matter in the nature. Spatial structure of the landscape. The theory of the habitat islands. The ecological succession. The city as the ecological system. Anthropogenic changes of the nature environment. The history and the changes of the landscape. Environment protection: the protection of the water, air and soils. Nature protection. The recultivation of the degraded areas. Ecological engineering. The monitoring of the nature environment.
Learning outcomes:
The skills of taking into account ecological processes in the planning of the urban and the rural landscapes; the understanding of the influence of the realisation of the architectural and the urbanistic designs on the quality of the nature environment
