Course content:
- Notions and issues related to planning design; types of planning studies,
- Legal framework for investments in the areas with and without appropriate planning documentation in place,
- Legislation regulating planning design in Poland,
- The study of conditions and directions of spatial development: the principles and procedures applied, the document's drawing and text,
- The local spatial development plan: the principles and procedures applied, the document's drawing and text.

Learning outcomes:
- Understanding the significance of planning studies for the municipality's functioning and development;
- The knowledge of administrative procedures related to adopting planning studies,
- The ability to read and prepare own drawings of planning documentation,
- The ability to prepare and interpret text records of planning documents.
